HP Hotel's Operations Team
Samantha Markey, Regional Director of Operations. Sam is a Regional Director of Operations and offices out of the Little Rock, AR area.
Sam started her career in hospitality as a housekeeper at an independent property in Saranac Lake NY, Hotel Saranac, which was run by Paul Smiths College. Sam graduated in hospitality and tourism at the top of her class.
After school Sam continued in the hospitality field working in hotels. Sam worked her way up by starting as a Reservations Manager at a Best Western in LaJolla, CA, she then ran a Holiday Inn Express for 6 years and from there went on to tackle the full-service side of the business at the Hilton Garden Inn brand.
The great thing about Samantha is that she actually has been someone that has been with HP Hotels since 2003 and understands our mission as well as our systems.
Samantha's largest strengths are being able to develop teams as well as systems and programs that has enabled her to move the needle in all of the projects she has been on in the past. We feel confident that her multiple brand experience will bring much expertise to our properties and her no-nonsense, let's get it done approach is just what owner's are looking for.

Kimberly Rowell, Regional Director of Operations. Kimberly proudly joined HP Hotels as the Regional Director of Operations responsible for properties located in Georgia and Florida. Kim has an office in the Atlanta area. Kim has experience in hotel operations, sales and development. Kim biggest attribute is her ability to work with owners and operators to manage and develop successful hotels.
Kimberly began her hotel career as a sales manager for a large full service Hilton. Her strengths led to the position as the Director of Sales. She was later promoted to Assistant General Manager. Most notably was the nine years that she spent in a variety of corporate management positions with La Quinta Corporation. As General Manager, her hotel was ranked annually in the top 10 performing properties out of 450 in the company. She earned numerous performance awards and was given opportunities by various La Quinta corporate departments to assist with developing and launching corporate initiatives, training and opening properties. Kimberly was promoted to Regional Director of Operations for the South East in charge of the operations, development, conversion, renovation, and openings of more than 50 franchise hotels in 5 states. This position allowed for her to develop profitable and effective relationships with numerous owners and managers. Kim was then recruited by Ceres Hospitality as a Vice President in charge of the operations of their company owned Hilton Garden Inn, Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn properties as well as assisting with the site acquisition and development of 6 Cambria Suites.
Kimberly was born and raised in Manhattan and has resided in Georgia for 20 years. She is a widowed mother of 2 University of Georgia students, and adores SEC football.
Kimberly's shares HP Hotels philosophies and passion for the business. Her mission is to utilize her diversified experience to help our owners, partners and managers to achieve their goals.

Tim Waz, Director of Development. Tim Waz joined the Hp Team in 2007 as Regional Director of Hotels before stepping into his current role as Director of Development. Tim has worked in the Hospitality Industry for the last 12 years working his way up to the position of General Manager with a strong focus on Sales and Revenue Management throughout his career.
Tim has multiple Brand operation experience and has hand on Hotel Opening and Renovation experience which is crucial to the successful deployment of our on-going projects. Tim has also worked directly with the Hilton Garden Inn Brand Team as a Regional Director of Hotel Performance Support. As Director of Development, Tim oversees our Purchasing and Procurement department for all FF&E and OS&E items, Marketing Studies and feasibilities, Brand Compliance and Franchise Assistance, vendor pricing and Proformas. Tim holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Tennessee.
